“This apartment house served for years as a family with 3 daughters until and older, stopped living in it. The owner was a very compartmentalized house with 5 bedrooms distributed as a fish bone through a corridor of 12 meters, and a living room of modest size. In practice, it had a floor of 160 square meter and just enjoyed 50 regularly.

The housing project involves adapting to this new life time, organizing in a way that creates a new everyday for the owner. This new situation implies habitual to enjoy spaciousness and abundance of light. Similarly, this amplitude will accommodate family gatherings with casual comfort.

Although we are in an urban context, the flat is in a block of flats surrounded by a garden setting. 3 of the 4 sides of the ground floor are open to the outside, so another of the wills of the project is to incorporate the presence of lush green surrounding the block in the day.

A distribution level, the floor is organized around a coated brown stoneware tiles 5 x 5 cm core. This, in addition to defining the circulations, contains kitchen, bathroom, laundry and home. The owner wanted to have at home the feeling that I was in a good hotel, and the home is basically a large open suite which also contains a kitchen and a guest room.”
