Greg Shand Architects / No 139
The New Zealand architect managed to built a resort and yet restful residence for the owner. From the outside, the house looks surprisingly well with the bright and casual easiness within. The timber on the ceiling has been bleached so it will emit a beautiful warm glow when illuminated.
The pool is large enough to enjoy and the main purpose is to moderate the heat and create an aura of calm. With the “L” shape outside the guest suite and living and dining areas.
